One Response to Merlin Library Bookshop and Publishers

  1. Dear Sir/ Madam,

By way of introduction, I am Massimo Boscarino, I am a writer and I live in Italy (Sicily). I would like you to see my first two works “Heal Thyself” and “The end or the beginning of the Essene”

Through my books, I express a particular part of my life where real events lead to inner and transcendental experiences.

I really love Malta and its inhabitants. I have visited this island many times and I would be pleased to go back again in order to present my books. Please note that I live in Ragusa that in only two hours away by catamaran from Pozzallo.

I would really appreciate if you could have a look at books’ back cover (see attachment), since the works will be translated in English during the next few weeks. Also, I am likely to be in Malta very soon and, if you wish, I could take the occasion to personally introduce you my books.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Faithfully yours

    Massimo Boscarino.
    Back cover “HEAL THYSELF”

The author wants to share his mystic and spiritual path, that has helped him to win his battle against Leukemia. The story is an inspiring succession of significant events and mystic journeys.

While traveling in Egypt, the author is overwhelmed by a vortex of energy during the visit of the Tutankhamun’s tomb. In Stonehenge, he experiences the mystical parallels of the Universe, that cast him into a timeless reality. In Sicily, he lives a transcendental experience with an English tourist that he guides on a sacred pathway in Ragusa Ibla.

The reader will sympathize with the disease and with the physical and spiritual healing, and will discover the secrets regulating the universe before its creation, defined as “nothing that is nothing…”

The author is capable of bringing together politics, economy, society and spirituality, highlighting the aspects of the ongoing social decline. Starting off from these considerations, he theorizes a community without religion, money and each type of subjection. He imagines a sort of social and spiritual evolution in a modern context, respectful of all human beings and the planet.

In London, the author meets Petro, a Greek man and his crow, who plans to accomplish a mission: brining back to Greece the precious marbles of the Parthenon, now kept in the British Museum. Walking down the busy London’s East India Dock road, he comes across the All Saints church with its graveyard, where he experiences a mystic and transcendental experience that will bring him back to Petro.

In Lampedusa, he meets an Essene hermit that delivers him a prophetic message, that will become reality in 2022, in a drifting Italy during the political elections. A very low turnout provokes a shocking political emptiness, and consequently a collective consciousness. Almost all the population, who has pacifically taken to the squares, must choose whether to follow the Essene project, that would allow them a social and spiritual evolution or to continue being wrapped in a system where even the human existence is at risk.

Enlightening is the moment when the author finds himself sitting on a bench in 2052, talking to his grandson about what has been, what is and what will be…

Massimo Boscarino is an Italian emerging writer born in Comiso in 1966. He lives in Ragusa.
His style is unique as it is simple but at the same time deep and mystic. Through his stories, in some stages imaginary and fantastic, the author is able to involve the reader in deep existential and spiritual considerations.
His works “Heal Thyself”- Dissensi Edizioni – May 2016, and “The End or The Beginning of the Essenes”- Edizioni Creativa – November 2016 have made him known to the public as a writer and expert of the human soul.
